Nice tubes on that sucker. What mod was required to make use of the Radiotron tubes ? Looks like home made adapters of some type. Cool idea though.

Whose amp is that glitch39 ?

Any word on what it sounds like ?

definitely unique looking, so far as the MK VI's go

id be curious to hear listening impressions, using those radiotrons for drivers

Singlepower users have utilized adapters for years now. there is one type that is available on ebay - it is for 6C8G to 6SL7 (default MkVI tube).

gain is a bit less for the driver tube, but did not matter as the amp has tons of power anyway. This amp has more power than my SP Extreme, really!

What they said about balanced on the HD650 is all true
