Hello everyone.
I need your adveice here guys.
I want to buy a portable amp for some PX100 headphones. It will be a used amp since i'm a little short in money.
So please, which one would you recommend me: Little dot micro, Pint, Mint or PA2V2? I will the amp mostly at home so I really don't need like the smallest one.
thanks in advance

Well, the PINT is the successor to the MINT and now the PINT is no longer avalible. So, I would either get the PA2V2 or wait for the Mini^3. If you do wait for the Mini3, I have a feeling your going to be waiting a while.

Oh ok guys, thanks. It's good to know that some of the amps are hard to find in here.
I was wondering how those amps compare in sound quality. I mean, is there any of those that is better than the others?

I own the PA2V2 and the Little Dot Micro+ and I find the Micro+ has a cleaner sound and a larger soundstage. It is available on ebay for around $70 including shipping. The PA2V2 is also a nice amp but has a more colored sound which is enjoyable but not as neutral as the Micro+

I've been in the same situation as the OP, and I spent quite a while researching and finally decided on the LDM+. It is only $70 shipped, but I don't know how it sounds because I haven't received mine yet.

Thank you very much for all the replies. After hearing yor commentaries about the pa2v2, I think I'm gonna grab a Pint or a Little dot micro+. Anyone else want to add a mini mini review?

I have a PINT (built by DieInAFire), Little Dot Micro+, and a PA2v2 and I would rank them in that order. The PINT has a much more spacious sound and deep bass. The Little Dot Micro+ has a very clean, uncolored sound but not as wide or exciting as the PINT. The PA2v2 has the warmest sound of the three but a little muddy on the highs (at least on my Beyers DT880s). Hope that this helps!

Thank you all guys. You've been very helpful. I want to ask you all one more thing: What is that thing Mini^3ified in the Pint?

DieInAFire: great review, thanks for bumping it. Are you still building some Pints?
