Should I try this one with my SR225 and RS2. Would he be a very good companion to Grado's.
The price is nice but how is the quality... This is a + model, some upgrade from just LD2.

Or do I have to go for Darkvoice

I can't comment on synergy with the Grado heaphones since I've only heard it with my Senn's.

As for build quality, it is pretty good while the sound quality is excellent.

I've got the LD2+ paired with the Alessandro MS2i.

The sound is very good for the price, and i suspect that it would pair with the 225 and RS-2 very well. For me, i would say the SQ is excellent. Neutral, tight bass and clear highs. Well i would suppose it would not be as warm as some people would like, it is very fast and transparent. The supremely tight bass is a plus, but if you like your bass phat and big, this wouldnt be your cup of tea.

Also, the LD2+ is actually rather revealing of sources, and it was very easy for me to discern between my vinyl and digital sources.

I had the original LD2 and SR-225's. Both my SR-80's and 225's were fantastic with the LD2.
