As the title says, I'm wondering about these two amps.  I was getting ready to order the Dot 1+ as I have already heard they sound good with the 400S headphone.  I do fancy the Mk2 which is obviously the better amp but can't really find anything mentioned about it being paired with the 400s.  I don't really understand all the technical specs such as ohms and impedence and such so before I place my order could I have a few opinions to help me?

I don't have the  Little Dot 1+ or Mk2 with Hifiman HE400S however I think either would work and I found this review from the Amazon UK feedback:  Little Dot I+ 6JI X2 Tube standard

I really can not recommend this amplifier highly enough. I currently have a Graham Slee Novo and a Aune TK1 but I bought this Little Dot with a pair of Hifiman He 400S and I have to say I am absolutely blown away by the sound this combo delivers. I have heard some people say that the headphones sound thin but with this amplifier there is absolutely no sign of thin sound at all. The sound stage is as embracing as it is amazing. It just sounds so warm and effortless. I spent less on this amp and the HE400S than I spent on my Grado RS2E but you would have to literally rip this thing from my grasp. It's absolutely epic.

That does sound a glowing review, I'd love to hear one for the mk2 with the 400s but I'm struggling to find anything so I think I'll have to play it safe and go with what evidence I have.  To be fair having a sneaky listen through my Fiio X1 they sound great so I'm sure either is going to blow me away.
