Little Britain

I've had coffee, coke, tea, whiskey, water, sprite, V8, egg nog, beer, and liebfraumilch flow from my nose in laugher due to this show. Whiskey burns; the rest just puddles in my lap.

@ you Brits,
A friend says that it's a rage over there. Kids are learning Vicky's lines, etc.
Can someone comment. I'm also wondering what age group(s) it appeals to, and if it's a generally popular show in the UK.

One of my favorites: Computer says nooooo...

Yes it's very popular over here and as well as a tv show they are doing a tour with a live show.

Popular with wide age group but particulary with the young ones who should not be watching it.

I like the dry comic narration of Tom Baker. Though the constant repeats of it are starting to get too much.

Like a lot of the brilliant original comedy that comes out of this country (examples, 'the office', 'the league of gentlemen' and to a lesser extent 'bo selecta') the first series was absolutely fantastic, and groundbreaking, and the later stuff descended into catchphrase-based mediocrity. It's sad. But yes, 'computer says noooo' is superb.

Oh, and I am the only head-fier in the village.

I'd have to agree. I saw the first season over here on BBC America and loved it. But later stuff seems more intended to shock and offend than to be funny and I haven't followed it. A shame actually.
