Lite Dac-83 versus Audio GD Ref 7,8,9

what i did last few days:

step 1: change from rca to balance cable ( Silver Sonic Air Matrix)
impressions : more noticable refinement. more details, wider soundstage,
downside is harsh high. edged bass, brighter.
comment: uncomfortable listening at mid and high.

step 2:  got the above impression, then go to step 2 to make change
add a platinum fuse to diy power cord which gives power to headamp, dac  and transport.  add a ground cable attached to transport.
impression: overall picture is full of meat,  feel like analog listen.
but downside is still harsh high and a little brighter. improve a lot but still
 not so comfortable.

step 3 \; got the above impression, then go to step 3
change dac 83 to Furutech platinum fuse - above harsh high, brighter sound signature are gone.
and looks like  give you back darkness and analog impression.

and this mod were helped by my 2 friends .
and 3 of us all agreed bass is much better than mod-before. more meat ,
and this bass should only be found out at hi-end equipment that my
system now can give out.

this morning i talked to lite.  get this information:

83 can upsample to 24/96 when you feed 44.1
83 cannot take 24/192

the most interesting is he suggested me to replace the capacitor
(use GAD ) at the rac and balance output.  total 4 pcs.  to get
better performance.

I am also considering this dac to replace my cyrus dacx+ which I use with the cyrus external power supply.
All the reviews look like the sound is what I am after, but will it be better than my cyrus/power supply combo which I guess is getting a little dated design wise now.
What do you all think????

Lite dac 83
The good:
Excellent in low frequency.
The bad:
Little upfront music presentation.
Not emotional sound to my ears and with my gear.
This is purely subjective impression.
I sold it.
I don't think audio gd is so . excellent sound.
You see other....

Thar was one of My concerns, I like low end but I also like My Music pacey and up front.
The Cyrus Dac gives Me all that, lots of pace, plenty of attack.
I think I need to address other parts of My system before I think of changing the Cyrus.
I never had a problem until I bought these new Beyerdynamic T1 headphonesthey show up every thing & I find My self with a little harshness at times and Maybe a little lack of Midrange depth & presence.
Not to severe but enough to spoil me just sitting back & listening to the Music at times.
I'm going to build an off board power supply for my xonar essence st sound card & Next month invest in a Monarchy audio Dip Combo word clock/up sampler.
Also I'm going to revamp My interconnects too.
See where we go from there.

What capacitors brand/model would you use as replacement  ?? does he suggest a particular model of cap  ?The 4 original "GAD" capacitors do not remind me anything: it looks like an unknown brand...

Thank you for your reply,

(I have recently used the Aura-Teflon caps at the RCA output level on an AudioNote DAC 4.1 with a lot of success: they sound superb).
