Please list your contender for extremely analytical, neutral and detailed pair of headphones. They don't have to be musical in a way that makes musics sound better by providing coloration (think low-end Grado or warm tube gear). I have no particular music style in mind, just looking for an idea of which headphones can reproduce full range of frequencies with great precision, micro-details and no coloration.

Uhh... how about UE-10 Pro? They definitely have extreme detail, and I highly doubted that they are colored in any way...

Headphone guru says the DT880 has rolled off bass and hyped treble after 4khz.

"Excellent, nearly perfect headphones with a flat frequency response in the
midrange*. The manufacturer claims that they provide a "very linear sound'. The
resolution, soundstage, spacial imaging and transient response are excellent,
better than in 770s and 990s. However the low end is too weak. Matching of
channels is perfect, probably one of the best we can find on the market.
The fantastic soundstage is one of the greatest advantages of this model. After
modifications the overall quality is more than excellent.

* Those headphones have an incredibly flat characteristics up to 4kHz, after that
there is a strong emphasis on the treble. Fault of that, they could be a perfect product. "

So QP400 does not meet these characteristics?
