Can you please stop putting "Rockbox status unknown" in the title of these threads? The Rockbox status IS known. Rockbox does not support the Nano 2G or any of the newest generation of iPods. As far as I am aware, there are no Rockbox developers actively working on porting Rockbox to any of these platforms, and so there is no prospect of having Rockbox on any of these platforms in the foreseeable future.

why are people are so impatient these days? If you want to use Rockbox, linux, etc you may have to just wait. I remember having to wait on my first ipod.
