Hi, I'm looking for a link to the Sennheiser 580 rebate. I just received them yesterday. Newegg seems to have removed them from their site. I saw a link to jandr posted here but that link doesnt seem to work either. I tried going to the rebate center at jandr but no rebate was found.

Also, there seems to be a small rectangular UPC and serial number partially pasted over the original UPC on the box. I'm not sure what this means or even if the rebate still works, but I guess its worth a try. Anyone with an HD580 order from newegg get this?

Yeah, what's the status on those newegg rebates? How'd those work out for you guys?

mine's being "processed" but I wouldn't be too amazed if they rejected it...I mean if I DID get it without taking the shipping in account it'd be almost as if I paid 105 bucks for the HD580s ... and they're truly worth more (now that I've had a good amount of time to hear them ... I bet I haven't even heard the best of them yet as I haven't gotten a good amplifier so I either use the Augidy 2 Platinum's drive headphone out with the 1/4" converter or else use a very cheap "amp" (cheap desktop speakers really) so right now I'm trying to decide between having JMT build me a really great META-42 or ordering a bunch of the parts and trying myself at it - I would like someone with much experiance to do a really great job but on the other hand I'd also like to save some money and learn more than I already know so it's a 50/50 at this time.
