LG V20 Sound Quality

Does anyone know of any software with plugins to simulate a tube sound that I can use on the V20? I'm looking at Toneboosters/UAPP, PowerAmp and Neutron....none seem to have this option? And there's no built-in software that simulates that either, from what I can tell. (My Samsung S7 has built in software, but the DAC sucks)

Try Noozxoide. The E or Pro versions.
Be sure to turn it on before your player.

It's close, subtle. Needs more volume though.

Since I have a Headstage Arrow 4T Amp, I am using it instead if I want a warmer sound.

Hello. Buy from aliexpress. I bought from aliexpress am I am very happy with those battery. 2 pc and an addapter to charge it for around 25 bucs. This is what I bought:
Ciszean 2 x 3200mAh BL-44E1F / BL 44E1F Replacement Battery Universal Wall Charger For LG V20 H910 H918 VS995 LS997 H990 F800
https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/e8Dlyfq
They hold charge very well .better than my original LG v20 battery 1 year old. The drawback is it takes 3 weeks to arive.

Hello all, I have a v20 incoming, because I needed a new phone and found one new for 150. So, I have a sony zx300 and absolutely love the thing, I tried searching this thread for comparisons but couldn't find any. I'm not expecting it to be equal or anything, I mean if it was that would be amazing but, anyways. What should my goto first steps be for this when I get it to make it sound it's best?

Install UAPP (USB Audio Player Pro) from the Play Store. Enable/Use HiRes driver and Bitperfect in the app. Use it as your default music player.

If you find you're having hiss issues with sensitive gear, go into the Quad Dac settings and turn both the balance knobs right back.

Ok, got the v20, setup uapp. Question, can you do analog line out from the v20 to an amp? So it would just utilize thequad jack?

Yes, you can, exactly like this:

So it does analog line out directly from the hp jack? How do you disable the amp?

From memory, when it detects that it's in AUX mode (connected to an amp or a line-input) it puts out ~1VRMS at maximum volume, so that would feed line level into your chosen amp. When you go back to plugging your headphones in (say the HD600 in the photo) the amp will switch back to high-impedence mode and I believe the volume resets to whatever it was when you were last in that mode (I've got a tasker task in place that always drops the volume to 10 when I plug something in regardless of the mode the amp sets itself to, so that I don't blow my ears out)
