Still can't use the DAC in Spotify/Poweramp? I thought they released an update?

Where did you read that? Did you try what I posted a couple of pages back?

Sorry, the last update I read was from this post. Never thought the DAC on Spotify and Poweramp are working already!

According to ESStech, the amp can power headphones from 8-600 ohms, at least that seems to be the case with my HD650's. The v10 powers the HD650s with NO hicup, I can't raise the volume past 55 or else my ears will hurt. Overall, I am more than pleased with this beast, I dont mind LG's Music app, i just need it to play music, that's all.

600 ohms direct from a smartphone is insane!

I know its only a spec on paper but, at minimum, means it should easily drive anything up to 300 ohms.

Right, I wonder if anyone else has tried to use a HD700/800 with the v10? or any other High impedance cans.

I honestly don't think V10 can drive anything more than 150 ohms load. The rule of thumb is that to make sure the amp power is twice as required for the load. Sabres claims to drive up to 300 ohms load. So it makes senses to cut it in half. What is your mk3 load ? I am not familiar with it

People are driving the 250ohm Q701 no problem with volume to spare...

I was just playing with V4A... Playing with mostly the bass... Paired with with asg g2... Most ridiculous bass I've ever heard. More bass, clean too, than I've ever heard. That's more than my AK240 and Cayin C5, more than my Fiio X3 and Cayin C5, no distortion. It was absolutely ridiculous. Volume was only on 25/70. Hifi enabled. This could make even a hardcore basshead happy. No exaggeration.

I'm a "Newbie" here and have been following this thread.
I purchased the LG V10 based on the 32 bit DAC and the manual video ability...upgrading from the LG G4.

I'm on T-Mobile and had a Xperia Z3 issue and without any Z3 replacement I ended choosing the LG G4. Once I heard the built in DAC, I knew I had to upgrade to the V10. Something I missed from the Z3 was the DAC functionality.

I'm not well versed in headphone knowledge and not an "audiophile", but enjoy listening to music.
I currently have several sets of headphones and headsets which include the Sony MDR-V900, Logitech UE 6000, Phiaton PS 20 BT and Monster Urbeat earphones.

What I noticed while streaming Spotify with the Hi-Fi DAC on, I can distinctly notice a difference in audio quality.
Not sure if this is due to my settings on my V10, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I accessed the "Developer options" and under "MEDIA" I switched on AwesomePlayer instead of using NuPlayer for playback.
This seems to work for both Spotify and Google Play...for me that is.

I thought I'll share this interesting information...hope it helps.

What do you have your V4A settings at?

The phone sounds absolutely amazing. I've been using it with Tidal and it's crystal clear. Added bonus, no interference when amping it either. On my Note 4, amped, lots of noise. Drove me crazy.

Does the V10 offer a line out option?
