Hello everyone im new to this forum, but i was wondering what would be a good set of headphones for Gaming and music purposes. I have looked up the Dt 770's and the A900's, people are saying mixed things about them so i was wondering what you all thought about them/ or if there are some other good ones that i should look into, a prices range would be about 130-200$$ !

I use and recommend the a900s, but I'm sure you will find support on both sides of the equation. You probably can't go too wrong either way. The main influence on my decision was that the a900s are pretty good all around (ie. music, gaming, movies) and are very good unamped from most sources.

Yea they seemed to be a really good set of head phones, so from ur experience u think that they would be better than the DT 770's

Understand that I have not owned, nor used the 770's, but when I was in your position, making bascially the same decision, I chose the a900s for the previous reasons I gave in the other post, and I really like them.

DT 770 is just as versatile as the A900 also unamped so dunno...

I have a crazy idea though. Why not get a buttkicker gamer and a cheaper headphone. It will absolutely kill for gaming, movies and the right type of music

.

For classical piano and such it don´t do much but for pop, rock etc anything with bass rhytms. A buttkicker gamer if you live in the US can be had for 69 buck. Otherwise 99 buck plus shipping (which gets a bit since it´s quite heavy stuff).

There is of course other bass shakers but what I like about the buttkicker is it´s easy attachment to a chair or racing ****pit without bolting things on and the amplifier which you can customize. Music, gaming and movies generally have different needs.

I wouldn´t hesitate a second for gaming what to get rid of first. My super gaming headphones Proline 750 or the buttkicker gamer
