Wow - Only three posts counting mine. It must just be the audience here. Rest in Peace Mr. Helm. Much of the music you made touched me over the years, and touches me still. You have left a wonderful legacy.

An other listen to "Pink". RIP brother. Now heaven has all three Band vocalists. Levon, Rick & Richard are certainly singing up a storm somewhere.

I read about Levon Helms passing in the local paper this morning, 3 columns, half-page, A nice tribute to an old Rocker.
…he's back there, pushing the hell out of everything up front…

As am I. :'(
I just attended the Old Settler's Music Festival, held just outside of Austin. Many of the artists payed tribute to Levon Helm--some were rockers, others play bluegrass and one was a singer-song writer.

I remember watching The Last Waltz a few years back, and was struck by the talent and passion they all had; but I was especially taken with Levon Helm. Truly an inspiring man.
