Absolutely amazing:

My review on Metal-Fi

Stream it now on Bandcamp.

For fans of Nokturnal Mortem, Summoning, Summoning, and Summoning.... :)

Oh man, this rips of Summoning so hard that its almost disgusting. But its too good to be disgusting.

Some aspects are even better than Summoning, clean vocals for example.

Regarding the review, funny. The moment I heard the first notes of this song I was reminded of Morrowind. It seems like I was not the only one.

Definitely.

As it stands this is definitely on my top 10 list and I doubt it will be eclipsed. Everyone, please check this out if you love Summoning or Nokturnal Mortem.

There is a new Summoning album out in a few weeks (we will have it early too) and literally, right now, I am wondering if Summoning can top Caladan Brood's forgery!

Guys check this out. Dutch artist called Mories, from Gnaw Their Tongues-fame, made a wonderfully fuzzed out, blissed out, shimmering and sparkling album full of My Bloody Valentine worship. Makes me think there is hope for The Netherlands after all.

EDIT: Hmm I can't embed a Bandcamp player. Just click the link above and grab your teddybear.

New song off an upcoming album by some Baltimore local rippers, they're called Necropsy at the moment, they're changing their name to avoid the whole legal thing.  Ages of the members range from 15 to 20.

For fans of early 90's thrashy death metal.

Just read your Sulphur Aeon review on Metal-fi, any idea if the brickwalling was carried over to the LP version? The snippets I've heard are fantastic but the brickwalling makes me a bit wary.

It still has a very compressed sound, but I think that's just because of how it was mixed. They obviously wanted it to have that crushing lo-fi production, which I don't think is a bad thing. I still enjoy it, anyway. What matters in the end is the music.

The way to find these lists is to start by searching for Metal web sites on Google. After finding a web site like Metalstorm, go to the area where the lists are located and then just place the year 2013 for a complete list of 2013 lists.

A word of warning. After some research I found some of his list is made of demos, example http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Paysage_d%27Hiver/Das_Tor/367756

Some of these bands are also not signed to major lables and the music is self-released, example http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Bong/...Yet_Another_Dose/367877

Here is IronAngel's list of 59 releases with another 20 odd releases he's looking forward to for 2013.
