Good album indeed. I'm struggling with the production of the Iotunn album.. A shame, because the music is great and Aldara one of my favorite vocalists.Had a chance to listen through this album on the LCD-2F last night. Colossal is a fair assessment. Hell of a sophomore full length release. Some of the interludes are a little lost on me but otherwise a massive album. This and Iotunn Access of All Worlds are at the top of my repeat listen list for early 2021 progressive releases.

Completely agree. It's a very "flat" sounding production. The kick drum impact is pitiful. It really is a shame as the musicianship is stellar, as is the song writing and Aldara's vocals are as good as it gets.Good album indeed. I'm struggling with the production of the Iotunn album.. Great album. Interesting mix of styles.

I love how this is recorded.
This is a great album! When I saw this album, I reminisced about Saor (Andy Marshall's other band) live at Wacken, which in turn reminded me of another great black metal performance I saw there. Zuriaake, from China. Check them out too!

Ordered !
You mean a physical copy, vinyl maybe? That's very cool. I'm a streaming only guy these days, but I long back to vinyl sometimes.Ordered !
I listened to their whole discography today on Roon. Excellent. Except for the 2011 EP, I believe. The production is so bad, makes it unlistenable.. But the rest is great.

I liked Falloch, the band that Andy Marshall left to form Saor. At least I really liked the first album they made without him. That weird alt-rock thing afterwards was awful.
