The new Xanthochroid is interesting. It's cheesy power metal/musical with some occasional black metal vocals and blast beats. I've spun it a couple times and it's not bad. It's a concept album, but I'll be honest and say that I have not read the 177 MB digital booklet that comes with the download to know what it's all about.

Dimmu Borgir stated that their new studio album would be out this year, so it may be December.

just got my new jupiters all set up with a ted allen t2 litz , Violent sleep of reason, has just woken the f up .. all other iem's are garbage

Guess I'll mention that I upgraded to floorstanding speakers (Klipsch RP-250F driven by a Behringer KM750 power amp) about a month and a half ago. Not sure how many metalheads here aside from @sludgeogre use tower speakers like this, but they're giving me the best sound I've had at home despite being in a bedroom and not even touching EQ or acoustic treatments. Here are some photos for those who'd like to see.
