I listened to The Final Frontier in anticipation of this one, and the production on that album is atrocious, even worse. But at least not the distortion.. Unbelievable.. As you say... The album was done two years ago apparently. They had all the time and money in the world...

I wanted it to sound like the new Helloween (2021)......I thought at least it could have the same sound? Don’t totally know why I put those two bands together but I do?
They (Iron Maiden) put their emphasis on touring maybe (lol) they are a spectacular live show anyway!

I found the picture then did a reverse image search to find out what it was about. Turns out that it’s actually explained in the music video for the song too.

Haha. Morbid Angel is a huge HUGE part of my history. Really you don’t even know. If you go back in this thread like 9 years you can read about my MA worship....basically forever? Also Nile was special, but for whatever reason things change? I still hold Immolation in super high regard but but can’t put it all in a top 14. But I agree those are super important releases. Maybe they will be back on my list next year?
And it’s so funny that you would post Morbid Angel, because I actually asked myself why it was missing from the list? Immolation got wondered about too? But Nile, I’m sick of all that Egypt sounding crap? But maybe I should go back in their catalogue and revisit ITDS?
