Lenntek Sonix 3 vs Nuforce NE 7

Hi all,

Which is the better of the two Lenntek Sonix 3 or Nuforce NE 7? I'm looking for good bass and crisp highs, build quality and sound isolation.

Very few people here have tried the Sonix (which is a shame). They are a true basshead's earphone. I have only ever recommended them to people who were concerned primarily with bass and build quality - both are amazing for the ($20) price. However, the NE-7Ms are a step up in the earphone hierarchy overall - the bass is still good (they aren't as bass-centric as the Sonix) but the balance is better overall - less biased towards the low end with more detail and better high-end extension.

Build quality and isolation are about even between the two and comply T400 tips are recommended for greater isolation and comfort on both earphones.

I'm wanting a mic so i can use it with my iphone. I'm after similar bass to that of sony ex71 but cleaner highs if that make sense. I can get th ne 7 for $70 AUD and the Lenntek Sonix 3 for $100 AUD.

With those prices the NE-7M is a no-brainer in comparison. I don't know what the bass is like on the Sonys, but I don't think the Nuforces will disappoint.
