LCD4z an upgrade over LCDX?

Or is it a different species? For those who tried both, is there a big leap in sound? I hear that LCD4z has better bass, transient, and tonality (warm). What's your experience for both?

Best way is search both in Google images and add "frequency response chart". Then in two browsers you can see the differences in tuning really easily. It'll be a sidegrade with different tuning, just depends what you want more or less of out of the box. Until Xmems solid state driver headphones hit the market, not any quantum leaps between them except tuning.

honestly charts just give me an indication of where the headphones might lack or emphasise. I like more comparison in real life.
