Not sure if anyone came across this with the CES coverage but I am seriously befuddled... It makes me think twice about the whole necessity and mother of invention business.

why would u want pictures on the side of the ear cups? u cant even see them and youd only be drawing attention to urself.

i agree. its neat. i wouldnt rock them, but its interesting. in todays world, everything is eye catching or has a cult-ish following.

It's certainly a cool idea, whether it catches on or not depends a lot on the price they introduce it at I think.
I don't think it would sound very good given that it seems style is the priority, but I'll reserve judgment until (if) they actually come out.

They're being presented as a concept design so I don't think we'll see them on the market anytime soon. It wouldn't surprise me if the ones on display don't even have the capability to produce sound.
