Well, yesterday I cheated on the Head-Fi community at large, and foolishly blew cash on a 52" projection HDTV, instead of on something practical like three more sets of headphones

No more capital outlays for the year, I'm afraid. Looking forward to '05 though

Mine will be the amp that Mikhail is building me for my HE60 (baby-o's). A tube amp that uses the 6sn7 tubes.

Looks like it will be a portable mp3 player/storage device for me this year. Need a way to keep my sanity at work...

I'm going to buy an iPod or something similar(as in compact 20gb+) in the very near future. I came to an epiphany, I dont need a photo mp3 player because the cell phone displays photos, and portable video players are either too expensive or unevolved. I'm also looking for a Rega Ear.

For college (in two years) I hope to bring a nice speaker system (SFF computer source), something along the lines of
Panasonic XR25 (digital amp), sonic impact T-amp looks like too much of a gimmick, dont know if I want to go that route
Athena B1, or maybe B2 or paradigm Atom, or dayton BR-1 kit, probably not a tower speaker
A 10" dayton sub, cant decide between titanic or the cheaper kit.

I have excess saved money ready to buy everything, but I guess I can wait to see if a good deal comes up or if something new comes along.

I have to say I agree with the poll and the unique style, I also find it entertaining.

I'm trying to resist my latest purchase urge.
I'm very tempted to sell my Merlin TSM-MM speakers and REL Strata Sub and go with the Ruby Red Merlin VSM-MX speakers.
They are sooooo nice

Ed, some kind of DAC? Wouldn't be the kind that starts with G and rhymes with "race" would it???

I feel qualified to poke fun, since mine is already on order. Like I said, the year is far from over.
