If finances permit, then I will sell my PS Audio xStream Plus power cord and replace it with a used Cardas Golden Reference Power cord of either 1.0 or 1.5 meters in length by 12/31/2004. I decided to stick with Cardas Cable because of its' high repute and the Golden Reference tier represents their most musical cables. I am positive that I am making the right decision. My second cable will be hooked up between my BPT BP.Jr II Ultra Signature Upgrades and Ray Samuels Emmeline HR-2. This serves as official public notice.

Do I detect a note of desperation in your post? You should be careful about statements like that with a full month left in the year. It is like bleeding in shark infested waters. For example, someone might come along and point out that if you can hear the difference in power cords it is because the power supply in your amp is not up to it's job of providing clean DC power to it's internal components. Not me, of course, I can't hear the difference between power cords.

Don't mind me, I am just being obnoxious

Happy Thanksgiving to yo'll!

So glad I didn't make any impulse buy today. I was checking out Toshiba sd4960 at J&R for $119. Temptation was overwhelming, but after listening to new sony scd-xa9000es ($2500) and looking at old and rare sony scd-1 ($5000), I was convinced not to spend petty cash and must save every penny for a bigger upgrade!

Who said you have to spend big bucks on a digital source component? HD-DVD and Blu-Ray are coming in a few years. Consider parking your money into a $1000 USD universal dvd player with an internal video upscaler. It's the next best thing to true HDTV 1080i/p resolution...today.

Get a decent one like a Denon DVD 2200 or a Samsung HD-941 or Yamaha SD-1500 or Onkyo CP-802. Mod it for the full MSRP value. You'll be happy for the next 2 - 3 years. That's my strategy in these crazy, computerized, crazy marketplace. One day, my gear will be hot and the next day it will be blase.

I really don't like your threads. I'd probably get banned (again

) for doing so, but if I started a poll, I'm willing to bet a significant number of people would agree with me...

Soo...do you feel better getting that off your chest? You've basically wrote to me that you don't like me for whatever personal reasons you got against me ever since I joined Head-Fi.

Look. I know just as much about who you are as you know about me. Making decisions about on line personalities is a dicey game and I don't like to gamble myself. Stop playing craps with my thread.

Still. Have a nice holiday season. I hope you stay safe and merry with your friends and family.

Well, I'd say Welly has a, how should I put it...unique style(some will love it, others will hate it. I personally find it quite entertaining). If you don't like his threads you could always avoid them, or put him on your ignore list. I really don't see the point of your post.

Why so much anger and hostility?
Radrd, have a good thanksgiving!

Oehlbach headphones cable for my hd580. Couldn't resist any longer!
