It may be my imagination, but it seems all of a sudden that the "last edited by..." statement seems to show up rather quickly now. Me no likey. I always post, see what I've written, then edit. Now I get this message no matter how quickly I type my edits. Anyone else notice this?

huh, you're right. Less than 1 minute, and it shows up. . .

I thought the shorter timing was only for the "For Sale" forum?

Sheesh. See it did it again! I hit the submit button less than one minute after the original post above. And now I've got the message...

Maybe the change that was meant for the sale forum was forced on the other ones by the software. Could be it is a bit of a job to customize each one and they put it off for a time.

appears to not have a time limit at all.

any edits are recorded.

not more than 20 seconds later edited.

Jude implemented it to help with auctions in the For Sale forum. when bids are posted they can't be changed without there being a record so the seller knows to disregard any bid that has been edited.

Mark,

I changed 1 letter in a word, and clicked save changes within about 15 seconds of entering, and it also added the edited by statement. Me no likey either!!!

Here's a tip, gents. USE THAT PREVIEW BUTTON.

Real men don't use the preview button. Or read the manual, or use brakes, for that matter
