Due to a recent medical bills, I would like to place this wonderful sounding solidstate amp for sale. This amp is in an excellent operating and cosmetical condition and it was retailed for $2000 when new.
The Headcode DM is a very rare amplifier and is one of the top candidate for the best solidstate amplifier in my book. This amp works great with variety of headphones including the Senn HD800 & HD650, ATH-L3000, and Sony MDR-R10. It is an excellent candidate for driving the HD800 and is neck-to-neck in term of performance compared to my Gilmore Reference Balanced (Headamp GSX). The Headcode was created by a famed audio designer, Philips Larocco, the audio-designer in chief of Traid Audio. This amp is not made any more and it is his best solidstate design short of the Headcode Triad version, which is also no longer available. Think of it as a much better Lisa amp on a much more refined platform.
