Other options:
Sony EX1000 - discontinued and used prices are quite high ($250 and up) but very wide and open soundstage, however not very deep and imaging is fuzzy. Excellent bass, slightly spicy in the treble
Sony IER-M9 has an excellent soundstage, but with focus on imaging, layering and depth rather than expansion and width.
It creates a very convincing, slightly miniature version of the venue.
The Sony IER-Z1R would be the top IEM for soundstage, but it's well above your $1200 limit.
I am not a Sony fanboy, it's just that these are the ones I was most impressed with, and I own the first two.
PS: The source has a big impact on soundstage and imaging. I use CHORD Mojo and Hugo 2, both excellent at their price point, but the difference in soundstage size between the $500 Mojo and $2200 Hugo 2 is surprisingly big.
