You guys are pretty good at finding these specific things and many of you have them so that's why I keep asking here even though a lot of the questions I ask are not very related to audio.

So, what I'm looking for is a table with rollers on it that can support a mouse and laptop. They're sometimes called laptop caddies but they mostly just resemble the little tables that they serve you meals on when you're in the hospital.

When searching "laptop caddy" a handful of things come up, all overpriced. I've thought of trying to go to a medical suppllies store but thought they might be even higher there. Can anyone suggest anything?

I've had my eye on this one:
Laptop Caddy

It's available from both Costco and Frontgate, but Costco is much cheaper than Frontgate, $63 vs. $99.
I like that both sections are individually adjustable, both for height and tilt, so it can be used from either side.

But unfortunately shipping costs to Alaska are prohibitive.

That's what I need except that... I don't know if the main section of that tilts or not and I need it to.... and... I don't have a cosco membership.

Weighs 38 pounds so isn't too flimsy. How much weight can one of these things hold?

You might find something that will work for you in the furniture section at www.levenger.com

Here is one example, big bucks though.

Thanks, akar. I didn't know you could pay 5% extra and order from costco.com without a membership. I went ahead and ordered--expensive shipping, though. Total came out to $101.

I'm a little worried I won't be able to get it positioned correctly. The roller probably won't go under the recliner I'm looking at so it would be just in front. I guess we'll see how it works out.

I'm hoping your next project is having a toilet seat installed underneath the cushion of that recliner.

My costs for this would be as follows:
Laptop Caddy: $62.99
Shipping: $81.75

If you are still looking into getting a Lane Comfort King, I'd be interested in hearing how useful it is in conjunction with those particular recliners. As that is what I use also, and this seems to be my best choice for a laptop caddy.
The roller won't go under these chairs, there is a bar.

No plumbing yet -- right now I still have to get up for food. Once I get a food and drink source, then I'll need the toilet gear.

From Lane's web site, there are three models I like and one is a Comfort King. I'll let you know how it works out, regardless.
