What is the best way to get a low jitter bit perfect 16/44 digital out from a laptop? I haven't researched in a while but a year ago it seemed all the USB products were high jitter devices. Do they make an ASIO PCMIA soundcard for laptops? Are there any good usb converters?

I use a simple USB to S/PDIF converter (PCM290x/PCM270x-based) that I modified with a BNC jack. About $40-$50 off eBay.
