Hi,

I use a Kimber PBJ mini to mini conector in my traveling system. The straight mini connectors frequently make poor contact because of pressure from the case. Apparently it does not make a difference sonically so why not provide the easier to use L shaped mini? I contacted Kimber and they do not use one.

Does anyone know of a high quality cable using the L shaped mini or someone who does mods on cables?

I've been looking for connectors, too. In particular, I was looking for 3.5mm plugs with tiny case size, one that might fit the tight space around the output connector on an iRiver SlimX iMP-550.

I searched patiently and found several sources of parts, as well as cost-effective sources for assembled cables.

My choices for low cost cables would be Markertek or A2Z cables. For more expensive cables, the Zu Cable Pivot seems to be well liked.

If anyone sees options I missed, please add your comments.
