Just bought a KZ ZSX and a NICEHCK 16 core 3,5mm 2 pin.
I'm lost in the cable installation, I understand that red is right and clear is left, but how do I know if the - is the dot or the "non dot" side off the 2 pin. And how do I know the polarity in the KZ ZSX.
I'm frustrated by the lack of documentation.

As long as the dots both face the same direction (ie both facing forwards or both facing backwards), you will be in the correct polarity.

If there is a earhook, that will also hint at the direction the cable should be placed.

To be doubly sure, u can use this link to check if you are in phase:

Out of phase connections are obvious, music sounds weird like it is coming from the back of the ears and outside the head. If you are getting an out of phase connection, just reverse one side of the cable and you are good to go.

Yeah u should be in phase based on this photo, but sometimes CHIFI QC isn't the best, and they do solder cables and IEMs wrongly sometimes, so you can double check it using the above youtube link.
