So, this may be kind of a weird thread, and I couldn't decide whether to post it here or in the full size thread. I thought I'd try here, since more people would be familiar with the sound of the KZ AS10.
I recently purchased the AS10, and really like the sound signature. I feel like it is detailed without being harsh; vocals sound natural, and bass has good punch and texture without being bloated.
My question is, what open back headphones would sound similar to these. I want something I can use at my desk that allows me to hear what my son is doing, and if my wife is hollering at me.
I had a set of Sennheiser PC37Xs, and liked them for games, but thought they didn't sound right for music. From what I've read, it sounds like the HD6XX might be for me, but because I wasn't sold on the PC37X, I'm hesitant.
FYI, I have a Fiio e10k for use with my desktop.
Any suggestions would be welcome. I can also post on the full size if you think I'd get a better response there.
