What the crap....another 4K club member ?

Yeah man, the pond is getting full. $4k is the new $1k. I’m personally out of the game with this new trend of $4k+ headphones. It’s getting too rich for my blood to buy new plus I need to save up for the new Holo Audio DAC coming out next year.

Well, this one is totally different. It’s made to order and not in mass production. You are paying for the craftsmanship of it too. I think it’s more of an issue when large corporations with the best resources charge $3k or $4k. Not sure you can equate a small boutique company in Japan with, for example, Focal or HiFiMan, in terms of the pricing fairness. Different playing fields.

I had emailed Kurada for some more info such as frequency response curve and their reply was they don't want to give out this information as it's confidential or words to that effect. So a bit frustrating, but I'm trying to book a slot at Audio Sanctuary to see what they actually sound like. Will be a few weeks yet as I have to travel some distance.

Based on specifications and images. I think they used audio technica drivers 53mm. Because I have driver pairs that look like this. So I easily recognize them.

it has 9 round holes in the driver frame. To adjust the sound, we will cover or clear these holes. Anyway, very interesting, this could be the inspiration for the dangling driver trend.
