The Zen "nano" plus? Is that for real? I sense a lawsuit from Apple coming on for stealing the name. That's just uncool of Creative Labs to use the word "nano" which everyone relates to an iPod when they hear it in reference to a portable media player.

Yes, it will be loud enough, enough to destroy ones hearing if need occurs. KSC75 is designed to be portable headphone afterall.

Stealing the name?? AFAIK the Zen Nano was around before the damn iPod.

Funny that you should ask this question... I have a zen nano plus 1gb arriving today, and I'll be using the ksc75 w/ them. I think your question comes from the fact that the creative player runs on 1 AAA battery, and the ksc75 have 60 ohm drivers, correct?

Personally, I'm not expecting any problems with volume....but I'll let you know for sure once fedex gets here

Apple "copied" the iPod interface from Creative and lost in court, so I think it is Apple who "copied" the name Nano from Creative as well. At least Creative gets paid for every sucker that buys an iPod.

That's an odd comment since the Apple (the computer company) blatantly borrowed from the Beatles "Apple Corp" name. Further more they co-oped the GUI interface idea from Xerox on which to base their operating system on. So who's "uncool" now?

I'm sure you'll be able to get enough loudness, I haven't found any DAPs yet that can't provide enough.

I can't say about the sound quality though because I don't know much about any of the listed DAPs.

IIRC, Creative released their Zen Nano Plus sometime in June last year, and iPod released their Nano in Sept.
