I just picked up a pair of ksc 75's and was wondering if anyone has experienced burn in with these. I don't expect them to sound as good as my 225's or 580's but it would be nice if they are half way decent. I only have about 4 hours on them and they are ok but I hope they will get better.

Why the negative feelings? Is it the price compared to the 225s that bothers you, and creating the thought that the 75s cannot sound better? As for burn-in, no they don't change, nothing does really.

No hard feelings. They only cost 16 usd. After reading all the reviews I was hoping they would sound better that is all.

They sound good for what they are. They beat out a lot of more expensive clip ons. Though no clip on is gonna sounds like a full size can.

They do sound good. I am just a believer in burn in and am sure the drivers will loosen up some and that should change the sound some. They are great for 16 dollar cans. I ill have to do an a/b with my px100's and see who comes out on top.

They grow on you. So if you're listening to them while they're burning in, then you're burning yourself in with it as well. It's not as exciting sounding as the Grado or as refined sounding as the Senn but the Koss has got its own appeal.

I prefer my ksc75 to my px100 in most cases, though.

They do have a nice tone to them. I was listening to a radio station last night on my kaito 1103 and the sound blew me away. They sounded very good.I don't know if anyone is into shortwave but the kaito 1103 has a very nice sounding headphone out.

It doesn't matter if you belive in burn in or not because if burn in doesn't exist, well then it is the brain that change how you hear the sound. For example my 650 has changed sice the day I bought them and they still do, I guess they have a lot more than 300h now, If I listen to a new pair I might not find any differences. And I love my ksc75 and they change also, but as said it may be my head and in the end all that matters is that something changes, if it is in your mind or the headphones doesn't matters.

BTW DO THE KRAMER MODD ON THEM!!!! And adjust the clips so that they sit on nice and tight.

I still don't understand why these cans are so popular... If your at home use your main setup and if your on the go use IEM's. I guess they would be good for jogging but who really does that?

Have you tried them? They are real jewel. I got mine pair yesterday and really shocked by what they can do out of unamped Zune. Big, punchy, and clear sound out of a small, cheap package.
