OK, so I ordered a couple of pair of KSC-35s from the Koss website, based on everyone's raving here.

The headphones arrived today, simply in black fake leather pouches, with NO markings whatsoever to identify the model of the headphones.

So how do I know these are the real deal?

ardklg, do you really thing koss is going to send out fakes? Of their own merchandise?

I doubt that Koss would ship anything but KSC-35s. They should be black with ear clips that swivel. They also look like KSC-35s.

I'd never seen any in real life, and I'm not familiar enough with Koss's product line to know if they sell any other models that look similar.

I did order from Koss...so these are probably it...but a packaging clerk could always grab the wrong items.

Doing a search just now for the KSC-35s, and looking many pages backward, I did see a pic of the 35s, and mine look like that, so I'll take it that's what I've got.

It just seems a bit strange that it wouldn't be somewhere on the phones.

HI: My koss 35s have koss in white letters on each ear piece and at the bottom of the 1/8 " plug it has koss on it.

but the only difference between the ksc-35 and the other koss portables ie sportapro is how they sit on your ears, so if the earclips are correct then you cant have anything but ksc-35's. i swapped the drivers from my sportapro and the ksc-35 cause i wanted the gold plug on the ksc-35

does that mean they are still ksc-35's???
