What are my next portable headphones?

Heya, Im looking for some open, durable, sexy looking, not bass-deficient, comfy, small, "walk or jog around campus and listen to the radio with" portable headphones to replace my KSC-35's...

Any suggestions?

Those ATH-EM7's are sexy and stuff, but apparently are bass deficient...

I wouldnt want the sportapros... too tight....

Would those new Senns work?

Maybe get another set of KSC-35's somewhere?

Are they repairable? Koss has lifetime warranty. You just pay for shipping. Check their website.

Well, Fixup.net modded some KSC-35's pretty strongly, and supposedly those are better... they claim that they will offer the KSC-35's for sale soon.. perhaps an already modded version?

Will SOMEONE do a...

"Unmodded KSC-35 vs. Fixup Modded KSC-35 vs. SR-40 vs Sennheiser PX-100 vs. ATH-EM7" Portable shootout?

I second that. I tried the SR-40s and the KSC-35s and the Grados are significantly better. You may want to at least sample them to see if you like them.

Alright. I HAD the SR-60's, and didnt find them better than the KSC-35's to the point where I liked 'em a bunch more... cord was too big, not enough bass impact due to the earpads, which i was too lazy to mod.

and they werent that portable, IMO... I'm looking for something, if possible, MORE durable than the KSC-35, with that nice decent impacting bass like the KSC-35... im looking for something that would be good for jogging with my fixup-modded portable radio....

Gluegun: I'd say to take a second look at grados: at least the sr-40s. They seem to have been getting a lot of praise lately. Also, you may want to hold off and try those new senns, especially the 200s and 100s.

Uh, a1leyez0nm3, Gluegun owns a pair of the EX70's - and he doesn't like them all that much. 'Nuff said.
