Pretty cool to have a lifetime warranty for pair headphones like that. Just use em as your everyday portable headphone on the move and when you know, wear and tear may happen. Return them for a replacement or free service. Sounds good to me!

I bought some of these based on one seemingly favourable comment I saw when Googling for TD85, plus a generally favourable view of Koss.

They do isolate pretty well, but they are pletty clunky and plasticy alright. There's a bit of a "sea shell" quality - ie you can hear the enclosure.

But depending on what you're after they have some good points. Specifically the bass extension is very good - in fact the only sound quality issue is the acoustics of the plastic enclosure - I'd say the transducers are actually very good indeed believe it or not.

The weird thing is, once you get used to the colouration added by the plastic closed back of the headphones, you can sort of forget about it and appreciate the overall fidelity of the transducers themselves.

So... These are flawed, but also not a disaster if your #1 priority is "closed back, low cost".
