Hi guys,
I left my beloved Alessandros at home with the amp this morning, thinking that I could put some tunes through my long-abandoned Koss sportapros and save wear and tear on the MS-1's. Woe is me
The sportapros were fine with my first disc, Espantoso (latin music) from the Vice City soundtrack, but when I put Fever ('80s pop) on, my ears started to hurt immediately. I was listening at about half the volume level that I do with my Alessandros, then at almost no volume and my ears kept hurting from the bass beat... this is from less than five minutes of play.
Is it just me, or is there too much bass with these cans? This is exactly the reason I stopped listening to the sportapros last year... pain. I thought that I was playing at excessive volume levels last fall, but the problem appears to be bass specifically.
