i remember some people posting about getting some. i was just wondering if anyone has any opinions yet. i just got back from compusa where they had some. 70 bucks i think.
FWIW, if you're planning on buying this, go check CompUSA's online site, where they have coupons. Believe it or not, they actually have a coupon for 20% off any headphones.
There's a review at CNET, although I'm not sure I'd put much value on it given how in many portable audio player reviews they mention the MDR-V600 as a "high end' headphone. Here it is: http://reviews.cnet.com/Koss_PRO3AA_...?tag=pdtl-list
hmm... looks like the 3aa shares a little bit of it's big brother the 4aat. (which are strapped to my head as i type) hella recessed midrange and vocals. i like em for techno though. or i guess anything with mad bass and treble. but rock is kind of lost on these cans.
When I tried the Pro4AA's we have at my store they sounded almost completely bass-free, and the day I tried them I even had my amp with me and that didn't help any at all. I hope the Pro3AA's aren't anything like that, although I don't really care since I think I've had my share of Koss cans.
strange. i love the bass out of my pro4aat. sounds tight and controlled but with plenty of weight to me. they do need a ridiculous amount of power though.
