Koss Pro DJ 100 broke...

As the title says, my Koss Pro DJ 100 broke a little after a month of owning them. The left ear cup snapped, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Koss' warranty and repair.

Doing a bit of searching, I found some threads that said that I just have to send the headphones with a note and a $9 check and then they'll repair it?

How good is Koss with this type of stuff?

They have a lifetime warranty supposedly, so you should be covered. Considering the cost associated with dealing with organizing repair service, repairing the broken product, and shipping it back, $9 doesn't seem unreasonable. I'm sure their total cost for repairing the headphones amounts to considerably more than that. Sorry to hear that your headphones broke, but the DJ100's are a pretty solid product, so I doubt it will happen again under normal use.

Koss warranty is lifetime no question ask.
