I was reading up on the "How to make the PX 100's high-end cans." thread again tonight. Some of the stuff I read made me check out all the other pads on my headphones. The KSC75's have pads that are softer, more dense material, and thicker. This results in the drivers being SLIGHTLY further from your ear and creating a denser padding between your ear and the driver. I took my 414 pads off to give this a try. Anyway, I'm curious as to what you guys think about this very subtle mod. I do not want to quarter mod my pads, but I'm interested in what you guys think about that too.

I don't think these pads will stay on my Sennheisers, but it was an interesting experiment. I think this mod is subtle, but still noticeable. I don't want to spoil anyone's review, so I'll wait to give my own opinions.
