Ok I have two pairs of koss ksc35's.

One pair has a cord that is 4ft long with a silver plug and the other a cord that is 4.5ft long with a gold plug....

Anyone else experienced two diff ksc35's?????

no, but there is one pair of 50's with a cloth covered cord, and the other with rubber.

I have both ... silver plug is "Made in U.S.A." gold plug "Made in China".

No real difference in sound quality that I can hear.

When I ordered the koss-35 from koss I got the silver (nickel) plug. When I ordered the koss-35 from headroom I got the gold plug. But I think that both of them sounded the very same.
