I just rec'd my set of Koss KSC-35's and wanted to use them with my Sony D777.
BUT, I wanted to use the remote, too. Since the remote already has a set of Sony in-the-ear phones attached, can the
Koss KSC-35's be "grafted" onto the remote to replace the existing in-the-ear phones?

Has anyone ever done this before, and is it simply of matter of stripping wires, soldering and shrink tubing ?

Any help greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

anubis

There is a thread on the conversion--I'm too rushed right now to do the search....

there is an adapter micro to mini plug for the d777 remote. do a search here. take my advice, just set up the d777 using the remote (play mode, ect), unplug the remote, and run the kcs35 right out of the d777 headphone out. you can still set esp and other options on those clever flat switches on the bottom of the d777.

the sound quality out of the d777 remote+adapter is a shame.

enjoy the ksc-35 + d777, you're simply not going to believe the bass.

Totally agree. D-777 is the bass monster of Sony Discmans.
