Does it has a card reader? I don't see it. Man, you are brave in opening that.

Of course it has. It can read 64gb micro SD card.

Thank you @ozkan for sending me the RT500.  I'm currently listening to it with a modded Monk, and the quality is rather decent.  I'll have to charge my Kogan as it's in dire need of some food it seems.  It has no issues reading a 200GB card so far, so you can really put a decent amount of music on it.  File support seems solid, as I didn't seem to find any issues with the music I had, with notable exceptions of no 96 support but of course I had no expectations of that.  I'd almost be tempted to put some video on it actually...  kind of a tempting idea.

Good to hear you got yours Peter. Which mod is it on your Monk? Lastly I would like to hear your thoughts on RT500 compared to the Kogan when you have time and really wonder which one you prefer. Wow it's hard to believe that it can read 200gb micro SD card!

I believe it's name is Crow Audio Signature Edition. I just got the earbud in a day before the RT500, so was very much in the mood to try both. The RT500 from what I can gather has better file support than the xDuoo X2, so that's a bonus. I just really need to mark my folders so I know which are 96 or 192, as I usually use an Xduoo X3 Rockbox so i never have to think about it.

Trying out an IEM I ordered that took a bit to finally arrive with the Ritmix RT500. In the background I'm hearing some impressive detail listening to Beck. I really do think the RT500 is a worthy Kogan successor.

It is a great sounding player isn't it? How do you like the sound and do you think they sound similar mate?

I'm really impressed with it's quality at it's price.  I have a bit of a hard time telling the two apart, so to me they sound quite similar.
