I just bought this Kodak Camera case today from Office Depot. It seems to hold the SR-71A perfectly. Only $9.99 too!

Here's pictures of it:

That's a great find man. I'm hunting for a case for my sr-71 (non-a).

If I had one, I'd probably just make a pouch like I've done for my Predator...

But that camera case might be more convenient to actually use the amp out of. Definitely a good find.

I have one question though. There are magnetics that hold the flap of the case closed when in the close position. Would this affect the amplifier in any way? I haven't noticed any issue, but just wondering...

No hdd in there... I don't think. I guess it's fine then.

That question makes me wonder who will be the first to create a custom mp3 player with an incredible dac/amp. That way we won't need to carry three separate items.

ur saying combine the amp with a mp3 player? would be sort of hard to do and won't have a huge market if anyone did make one it would be some small company like ray samuel's or something along those lines. Apple will never do it

True Apple wouldn't do it, but I do think it would be cool if Xin or RSA would create such a product. It'd probably be insanely expensive, but then again this hobby isn't cheap anyhow.

I'm guessing that a product like this would be $1,500+.

This package, once closed up with the iRiver H140 or 120 fits right on the belt and goes most anywhere. It protects the equipment well and is a little larger than you fist.

Is the RSA Predator similar in size to the SR-71A?

That Kodak hard case seems to be built for the Blackbird !!!! I'm trying to hunt it, hope I can get one soon!

Thanks for sharing this.
