Does anyone know how these compare? Granted they are IEM vs Headphones, I'm curious how the sound quality of a $350 IEM compares to that of a $150 headphone?

I have the SRH840 and ordered the klipsch X10 today and need to keep only one. Just going off of sound quality.

If the x10 is CLOSE to the SRH840, I'll keep the x10 even if it's a little ****tier and replace my headphones with a speaker system.

You do realize that Amazon has the Klipsch X10 for $94.95 as the gold box deal of the day right now:

I'm also curious if anyone owns both of these and can compare them.

I've had my eyes on the SRH840s, but picked up the X10s because they were so cheap. I'm looking for something that has great mids and a more balanced sound. It seems like the SRH840's would be much better than the X10s as far as mids and balance go. I'm under the impression the X10's will have a similarly bassy and dark signature like my S4s, but with greater clarity and treble.

The X10i are warm sounding IEMs with deep reverbing smooth bass and offers great midrange details and crisp clear highs.
