I just ordered the Klipsch S4i, and was wondering if I could use the mic on my computer as well, as all of its features are associated with iPod/iPhone.  I feel like the answer is a no-brainer (yes), but I have a few days to kill before they arrive, and wanted to make sure.  Just got them for $79! =D

You can listen, yes, but the mic/remote in the cord will not work with most programs.
 
Unless you have a Mac then you can use the remote with iTunes.

Most likely not.  If you look at the 3.5mm plug of the image s4i you'll notice that it has more bands than normal headphones that don't have a mic or remote.  The extra band is for the microphone signal.  Most computer headphone jacks aren't built to utilize the extra prong for mic, instead they have a separate line in.

It will work on a macbook (at least, one of the new-ish ones). Maybe other macs too.
