Hello, i recently purchased the s4a's with hopes of using them as a 'gaming' headset for my PC.  I use a splitter like: http://www.goldchip.uk.com/120-270-thickbox/startech-35mm-4-pin-to-2x-3-pin-35mm-headset-splitter-adapter-f-m.jpg
and plug both the stereo and Mic connections into my soundcard.  The mic itself works but theres one problem, All of the sounds played on my PC (music, videos, and others voices in chat programs) are relayed through my mic as well so they can hear everything that is on my computer.
Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.

Was in the same boat as you, but was looking for IEMs that actually have 2 input connectors for audio/mic. 
 
You could get the sennheiser pc300s, they're decent. Now I just use EPH-100 earphones with a zalman mic that I just put on my table that's seperate - a lot more options that way and superior sound/mic quality.

Hmmm, that just seems like a glorified version of what i already am using.  Not sure though
