Is there any real or theoretical difference between the XLR and RCA inputs of the KGSS (e.g., Headamp KGSS)? I will have mine soon but can't decide on whether to connect it to the XLR or RCA outputs of my source. I prefer headphones over speakers, so if the KGSS XLR inputs are supposedly better, speaker amps will have to settle for the RCAs.

Thanks much for any info.

I seem to find my Headamp Kgss sounds slightly better using the XLR inputs,Justin also mentioned this to me.
It may also have something to do with most balanced outputs have a 6db gain over rca outputs in some equipment like ML gear& my Meitner gear.

XLR's will win especially if you have a longer cable run, and will help reject alot of EMI/RFI that may be there.

Ground loops can be a real pain, but a nice balanced run solved ground loop problems I've had in the past.
