Let me see if I have this straight .... The Kess mod is done to take away some heavy bass, and bring recessed mids forward some ....

Am I correct ? If I am, I'm thinking of trying this on the ATH-M50

Well, the Kees mod more so pertains to Ultrasone PRO 900 I believe, but you can design your own M50 mod and call it what you wish. Though, the Downsize mod may be slightly misleading in certain instances
