Hurrah for Kennerton engineers !
(and the current reduced prices) :)

Always very happy with my Thror; an excellent headphones for the piano (Debussy) and also the Opera (Carmen of Bizet with Maria Callas).

Hi all,

First review of the Kennerton Thror by a Russian magazine.

" Три имени флагмана Kennerton: сын предводителя асов, король гномов или процветающий Трор "
"Three names of the flagship of Kennerton: the son of the leader of the Ases, the king of the dwarves or the thriving Thror"

The photos of the magazine are reproduced in larger below.

One of the best planar headphones at 3 K (and over) from my point of view.

A tangible improvement compared to the Odin Mk2 (lighter headphones (200 g less); more accurate, more airy; more subtle; fairer); No doubt. :)

Has anyone heard anything about the Stor on the Kennerton website? Looks like it's a new model, possibly limited edition? Doesn't mention wood type or anything about the drivers.

THR009 off to @Sorrodje to get measured as soon as I can find a free minute here.

I won't comment on sound, but I will stretch how important it is to get them setup just right.

The headband is stiff as anything, and much more than my Vali there's a very fine line between "something is annoying me" and "disappears".

If you get it wrong or you're just lazy, something like my 700g+ blackwood & brass auteur are more comfortable.

Also the pads take a while to warm up, they feel a bit too stiff when you plonk them on your head cold.

The good thing is you can tell instantly - you put them on your head and you can immediately tell if something presses more than some other part.

I like the cable a lot, especially how it has no splitter. That's a good thing as its proper russian style "built like tank" and while smooth as silk its not the lightest cable, it doesn't need anything else adding mass.

We finish the produce of FA-011 and decided to make the last items more premium. It is a standart FA-011 in Vali exterier. Only 25 pieces are available, but 10pcs will be sent to distributor soon. This model will not be release more.
